Having trouble finding new Accoyo bloodlines? If so, Baccarat (pronounced Bock'-a-rawt) is the full-blooded beige Accoyo Suri male that will help expand your bloodlines and make your crias in higher demand. His beige color puts him into an elite category among Accoyo Suri males with good potential to produce colored crias, having produced brown, fawn, beige and white. Baccarat is the son of Accoyo Lucma and was in utero when his dam arrived in the 1995 Peruvian Import group.

      Description

Patchouli is a very mellow male, with very nice fleece, shearing 7-8 lbs each year with a 3 lb blanket. As one of only 2 Accoyo Baccarat sons, we hoped to use him as a herd sire. While his conformation is very good, he has a retained incisor that could not be removed, giving him the "long tooth" appearance as his 2nd set of teeth grew in. We hoped that by the age of 5 it would fall out, but no luck and the root is still very long and fully attached. We bred Patchouli when he was between 2-3 and just changing his teeth out, resulting in very high luster white male crias, Playboy and Fast Break. He is proven, but when we could not confirm that the retained tooth was not genetic, we stopped breeding him.

Patchouli is a nice fiber male with a pleasant personality and easy to handle. We hope to find him a good home where he will bring joy to his owners along with lots of beautiful white fiber for spinning.

Contact Patti at 443-740-4240 or email us and make an offer! Patchouli must live with at least 2 other alpacas in a herd situation.
