Description

What a sweet girl! Coalypso is friendly and inquisitive, and is wonderful to handle. She has grown into a beautiful yearling with uniform color throughout her fleece of a very rich deep maroon color. She has good locking throughout that is uniform with straighter locks at the skin that twist and wave starting 1/2 way down to the tips - perfect for processing creating very little loss in production. It is very soft with beautiful luster and she is a fleece machine! Her 2017 shearing at 364 days was yielded a 3.5 lb skirted blanket. Her March 2016 histogram AFD was 20.0 microns.

Here are her first shearing stats at 11 months of age:

Total wt: 7.5 lb! Blanket wt: 2.7 lb, Neck wt: 1.2 lb, and length 6.5" with only 329 days growth!

Coalypso is the daughter of two multiple Champions: Sierra Bonita's Macgyver's Hotazel and WRSR Peruvian Coal-Amity.
