Aladdin is one of those rare herdsires that is fine, consistent and dense. In addition, he maintains that fineness in both himself and his cria which is one of the main keys we are all breeding for in alpacas. Add his typey head and dense bone structure and Aladdin is exceptional for any breeding program.

Aladdin is a son of the late 5Peruvian Royal Inca Legend. Inca Legend is known for throwing incredible greys and blacks and his offspring are well known as winners in the show ring. In addition, Aladdin is the half brother to Legend’s Challenger of KPR (Boomer) and has almost identical histogram and fiber statistics. Their skin biopsies are within 1-2% and the type of crimp and fleece they throw is almost identical.

Aladdin is the ticket for dark from dark brown through black (over 60% of the time he darkens the dam and 80% of the time it is either the same or darker than dam). If you breed white or beige, all have been fawn or darker (55% fawn, 11% Brown, 11% Grey, 22% BB).

Aladdin is truly the total package. He has 118 registered cria on the ground including five multi-champions. Check out his champion offspring-especially Never Summer's Black Ice, who is a black male and was awarded Supreme Champion!!!

This beautiful bay black female has tremendous density! Sonora is sired by the phenomenal, Full Peruvian Aladdin of KPR. She is the granddaughter of 5Peruvian Royal Inca Legend (and niece to Legend's Challenger of KPR). How's that for some awesome genetics!

Sonora won Reserve Champion and First Place at the 2008 Alpaca Breeders of the Rockies Fall Festival; Reserve Champion and First Place at the 2008 AFCNA Continental Fleece Show; 1st Place at the 2008 Great Western Alpaca Show; and brought home many other ribbons from the 2008 and 2009 show strings.

Champion Producer:
Sonora's 2011 daughter, Estates Scarlet Wings was the 2012 IAO Grey Reserve Color Champion and Blue Ribbon Winner! She also won 1st Place at the 2012 Futurity show.

We re-bred Sonora back to our Patagonia's Chilkoot for a September 2025 cria.


Offspring:
On 7/30/11, Sonora presented us with a beautiful DRG female sired by Snowmass Silver Signature. Estates Scarlet Wings was the 2012 IAO Grey Reserve Color Champion and Blue Ribbon Winner! She also won 1st Place at the 2012 Futurity show.

On 6/12/13, Sonora gave us a handsome dark fawn male sired by Snowmass XXXtremely Golden.

On 9/19/14, Sonora had a lovely dark brown female sired by Snowmass Royal Knight whose 7-year fiber stats were 16.5 M; SD 3.5; CV 21.1 & %> 30m=0.4!! We went out to get our hands on Sonora's cria, and when I opened the fleece, I couldn't believe what I saw. This little girl is sensational! This dark beauty is sure to be a winner on your show string!

On 7/4/18, Sonora gave birth to a cute medium brown male sired by Patagonia's Ernesto.

On 9/8/20, Sonora presented us with a handsome brown male sired by our incredible Snowmass Pure Passion.

On 9/14/23, Sonora gave us a beautiful true black female sired by Patagonia's Chilkoot (sire of 6x Champ Patagonia Estates Sakima).
