Hi there...I'm Cash's first born son Clint, I like head scratches and getting pampered on salon days at the farm. I want to be just like my dad: strong, respectful, and stunning to watch

WHF Cash

Bull (male)Imperial
IYAK - Foundation# 2C250DOB: 6/11/201511 yrs
This big guy always amazes us. He is a gentle giant. Cash loves his treats and is completely and utterly respectful to his cows, and especially to us. He is a wonder to watch and admire, his movements flowing, strong, and he is everything majestic that hooked us on this beautiful breed. He seems to instinctively know to give us space in the pasture when we are working. When with his ladies and his babies, he is a leader and a calm protector, and will be seen laying with his calves all around him giving the mommas a break. The way he follows and gives attention to each of the mommas is romantic as it looks as though he is courting each one so genuinely on late evening walks side by side. Exactly the temperament we want in a bull for our small farm and for breeding. Pedigree on Cash strongly resembles bulls in his lineage such as Dr. Lock, Dreadlock, Prince Allante and Blackberry/Diamond bloodlines. Cash was born in upstate New York at a farm that acquired it's starter herd of pedigreed animals from Montana. His horns are beautifully symmetrical with a slight bend back which is our preference. He has a flowing skirt and fiber that he is able to rub off easily in the spring by himself. Although he is easy going and will allow you a head scratch, he doesn't care for us to comb him. His hooves are slow growing and seem to self-trim as we have not had a need to trim. The black Imperial nose and curly top make him everyone's heartthrob.

OHY Loretta Lynn

Cow (female)Native
IYAK - Foundation# 2E101, USYAKS# 17D33DOB: 7/10/20178 yrs
Loretta Lynn pretty much carries the title for boss cow each year. This does not change how she acts at all with each of us, she loves getting her face rubbed down and scratches behind her ears. She especially likes it if you take time to wipe a fly or two off her eyes. She does not intimidate the other cows, just takes the lead most of the time and is not shy. She continues to be the biggest cow we have, and has produced our first bull calf, SCF Clint, who carries her strong conformation and size. Loretta is an amazing momma who is often seen sitting with all the calves in the shade relaxing. Her pedigree shows some of the greats such as Queen Alliante, Chewbacca, and Billy the Kid.

Details

Clint is the product of our stunning, muscular herd sire, Cash, and our "queen of the herd", Lorretta Lynn. He is a favorite to admire and watch in the pasture--he has a charisma that cannot be matched and has been socialized and handled daily.

He is an Imperial Black like his sire—he is the protector of the herd and can be seen oftentimes just sitting close to his momma admiring her in a beautiful gaze. He is the leader of his original calf crew and is nurturing to each new set of calves despite his tremendous strength, size and appearance.

Clint has an extraordinary respect for boundaries, is tender and has a set of eyes that can melt your heart.

He has been handled since he was a day old as all of our calves are, he has enjoyed being on his halter (still at 6 years old!) going for special treks, and walks into the chute calmly--navigating his incredible horn set with a stealth like ease. Like his dam, his fiber is abundant and easy relasing and tests as one of the finest micron in the herd at a micron average of less than 18.

Pedigree, size, conformation, fiber, personality, looks.
