Stud 2024 Stud muffin 2 months old Oh boy xo with his Royal mommy

Fiber and Halter Champ xo

SCF Stud

Yak, Steer (male) | Imperial Trim

USYAKS# 22B51 | DOB: 8/11/2022 (3 yrs)

Sire:
WHF Cash

the man in black

WHF Cash

Bull (male)Imperial
IYAK - Foundation# 2C250DOB: 6/11/201511 yrs
This big guy always amazes us. He is a gentle giant. Cash loves his treats and is completely and utterly respectful to his cows, and especially to us. He is a wonder to watch and admire, his movements flowing, strong, and he is everything majestic that hooked us on this beautiful breed. He seems to instinctively know to give us space in the pasture when we are working. When with his ladies and his babies, he is a leader and a calm protector, and will be seen laying with his calves all around him giving the mommas a break. The way he follows and gives attention to each of the mommas is romantic as it looks as though he is courting each one so genuinely on late evening walks side by side. Exactly the temperament we want in a bull for our small farm and for breeding. Pedigree on Cash strongly resembles bulls in his lineage such as Dr. Lock, Dreadlock, Prince Allante and Blackberry/Diamond bloodlines. Cash was born in upstate New York at a farm that acquired it's starter herd of pedigreed animals from Montana. His horns are beautifully symmetrical with a slight bend back which is our preference. He has a flowing skirt and fiber that he is able to rub off easily in the spring by himself. Although he is easy going and will allow you a head scratch, he doesn't care for us to comb him. His hooves are slow growing and seem to self-trim as we have not had a need to trim. The black Imperial nose and curly top make him everyone's heartthrob.

OHY Smiley Miley

Cow (female)Royal
IYAK - Foundation# 2E100, USYAKS# 17D31DOB: 7/6/20169 yrs
Smiley was born with Royal black & white markings on her hind quarter that looked like a sideways smiley face. This fits her personality perfectly. This sweet pink nose greets us any time she can for a cuddle and comic relief. She loves water and looks out for whenever we have the hose out near the pasture as she wants to get wet, play and be silly. Her first calf, SCF Beau, has this playful spirit as well and is the first of the calves to start an afternoon run around the pasture and it looks like his little tail was dipped in white paint. She is a doting momma that lets Beau be a free spirit. Smiley is always the first girl in the squeeze chute for combing, pampering, hoof trims or just lovin. Her pedigree is very unique in that she comes from a long line of beautiful Royals such as Sherpa and Crown Royal on her sire's side, and original McRobert's lineage on her dam's side.

Personality AND Fiber oh my this little boy we knew we were keeping for our fiber baby! He is the LOVE of the farm, handsome and loves cuddles.

This guy will has become part of a “trekking training” we’ve implemented here as part of our herd bonding.

Stud looks EXACTLY like his sire, Cash, when he was a calf--now at 4 years old this big boy has grown to be much woolier than his sire and dam, handed down genetics from his sire’s wooly dam.

Just has grown into a stunning yak with a beautiful heart and bond with us.
