Crescendo was a previous Texas Genemaster herd sire. He is exactly 62.5% Boer and 37.5% Kiko- the ultimate combination. He was our first Texas Genemaster to be fully registered at the actual percentages in both the AKGA and ABGA. His full pedigree is completely registered and he is DNA parent qualified. Through his dam side he carries notable Kiko sires GHK HIGH VOLTAGE and WSU GOLIATH'S KEEPER as well as Boer notable Sire PISTOLERO a few crosses back. His Full blood Boer Sire, JBOGH SUNDANCE carries AABG NBD MORE POWER. He is registered with the ABGA as REF8 Crescendo. We are very pleased with the quality of kids he produced. He passed on many good breeding qualities to them. *He has produced correct structure and a longer bodied, athletic, muscular frame. *His kids have been 100% 1x1 clean teated. The does he bred were all 1x1 teated Genemasters. *His kids have had 100% dark pigment. Some tails were freckled at birth but soon darkened. *He has produced bucklings with rounded scrotums. (Only one has had a very slight indent). *His kids were parasite resistant. He never required deworming. *His doe offspring have excellent mothering qualities. *Good feet This fellow was too good to stay in a small herd and moved on. He made us some amazing females. He continues to have a strong influence on our herd. We are also impressed with his son Schubert. He was a very pleasant fellow. Good natured, and easy to handle.

Details

Schubert is the best buck we produced from on farm stock in 15 years of breeding when it comes to conformation. He has been a very easy keeper. He is easy to handle but not overly friendly. We have several of his sisters and plan to keep his son for a while.

REF Schubert has the "it" factor, and he checks all of the important boxes. He has a very athletic build, with defined muscles. He has a nice wide eye and horn set. His scrotum is perfectly round. His teats set above the scrotum a perfect 1x1. His bite is good. His black tail pigment is over 90%. He is a triplet.
He's at the pinnacle of the Genemaster program as a 5/8 Boer, 3/8 Kiko Texas Genemaster. He can add that Boer influence to your Kiko herd (or whatever kind of herd you have) without the notable issues you want to avoid. Or he can add some vigor to your Boer herd without sacrificing breed standards. His pedigree is filled with great, easy kidding moms with ideal udders that hold up over years. He has great feet and vitality. He has genetics to throw black, red, paint, and traditional kids . His sire never needed deworming. He's being raised on pasture with winter hay and pellets.

He goes home with you microchipped, registered and DNA parent qualified with the AKGA. Health certificate for transport is at the buyer's expense.

90 day weight 51# 4/16/23
Triplet, raised as a triplet
Biosecurity tested 2024
18 month 137#

All Crescendo/Knightengale offspring have been registration worthy. I sold Crescendo because I retained his doelings. Schubert is the only buckling of this cross to ever be available. They were bred for 3 consecutive years, producing 5 doelings and 2 bucklings. All 7 kids have been perfect 1x1 and black pigment.
