Raindrop is a powerful, wide doe with real body depth and presence, and her first freshening DHI record backs up what she looks like on the outside. She finished with 1,380 lbs at 305 days, 6.6% butterfat, and 91 lbs of fat - an exceptional combination of volume and components for any doe, let alone a first freshener. Her ME of 1,794 lbs puts her well above average for the breed. She is currently in her second freshening.
Her udder is large and capacious with good rear width and height, well-blended fore attachment, and a functional medial suspensory. The whole udder is buttery soft and milks out easily, which is a trait that makes a real difference at the stand whether you are milking by hand or machine. Teats are correctly placed and she is a pleasure to milk. Her body is wide and substantial with good chest floor width, strong body depth, and a balanced topline - she is built for durability and production.
