We haven't fully moved to OpenHerd - click here to see more pics & details on our site! All the way from one of the top farms in West Virginia, Denarius is a super wide, powerful stud with some really nice udder attachments in his recent pedigree. For the flashy color lovers, Denarius carries the chocolate gene and all of his kids so far have inherited it. We DNA tested him, and he has A/A alpha-s1 casein - which is the absolute best for cheesemaking! Pics include Denarius, his dam, and paternal granddam. 5th Gen. DOB 03/23

    Mini NubianDoe (female)
    MDGA# AMN18195, TMGR# DN000302015773DOB: 3/6/20233 yrs
** October 17 updated: All SCC counts and mastitis cultures have come back negative multiple times! We are comfortable listing her as a milker again. * Late August Update: Pickles recently battled Staph A mastitis in her right udder half after being headbutted. After a couple weeks of antibiotics & holistic treatments, she just had her first clean culture. Our vet says that after 3 clean cultures, separated by a few weeks, she can be considered "probably safe." Worst case, she would make an adorable pet or tasty meal! She weighs about 95lbs live. We haven't fully moved to OpenHerd - click here to see more pics & details on our site! Pickles is one of those does who packs a ton of value into a compact package. As a first freshener, she’s producing over 5.8 lbs/day with a rich 6.1% butterfat on average, making her one of our most efficient milkers per pound of body weight. She’s got great body balance for her size, and a solid stance that holds up under milk. Her personality is just as bold as her name suggests: curious, social, and always the first to poke her head in the feed bucket. Her biggest weak area is her rear udder attachment - something we’ll aim to improve in future pairings. But overall, Pickles brings a lot to the table with her combination of production, structure, and personality. 3rd Gen. DOB 03/06/23 Show Record: 4th Place Junior in a large class, 2023 Oregon State Fair Moonspots, Roaning

    F4 doeling - J3 Farm's PJ Pickles x Storybook's Denarius

We want to let this tiny girl and her sisters unfold before we pick our keeper! We'd love at least one of them to go to another performance home so that we can help their sire earn his milk star. If you run a performance herd or even if you just want one registered, feel free to reach out if you're interested - it might help us decide haha!

Pickles freshened with a cute little FF udder. We're excited to see how it develops! So far, it is super buttery soft and her orifices are very nice - all of our girls with Soaring Heart's genetics have been amazing like that!

Denarius comes from a line with super nice udder attachments all around, plus his rump is a bit flatter than Pickles'.

We're excited to see how their daughters unfold!
