We haven't fully moved to OpenHerd - click here to see more pics & details on our site! All the way from one of the top farms in West Virginia, Denarius is a super wide, powerful stud with some really nice udder attachments in his recent pedigree. For the flashy color lovers, Denarius carries the chocolate gene and all of his kids so far have inherited it. We DNA tested him, and he has A/A alpha-s1 casein - which is the absolute best for cheesemaking! Pics include Denarius, his dam, and paternal granddam. 5th Gen. DOB 03/23

We haven't fully moved to OpenHerd - click here to see more pics & details on our site! Green Gables AC She's a Doll AR6*D/6*P - F5 Mini Nubian doe, DOB 4/7/22. 2024 MDGA Top Ten - #1 Butterfat %. Dolly is the doe that started it all for us, and letting her go is not a decision we made lightly. She finished 2024 as the number one MDGA Top Ten doe for butterfat percentage across the entire breed - 6.8% BF on 981 lbs of milk as a first freshener. That is an exceptional number at any freshening. Her rear udder is genuinely outstanding - wide, high attachment with a strong medial suspensory, correct downward teat placement, and a level floor. We will be equally honest that her fore udder has a pocket at the attachment. We believe the volume she produced as a first freshener stressed her fore attachment before it fully developed, but we note it because it is there. It has not affected her function or production, and her rear continues to carry the evaluation. Her body is balanced and refined with real dairy character, a level topline, and a clean front end - conformationally she is one of our most correct Mini Nubians from a structural standpoint. Her sire is Green Gables MB Amazing Comet +*B and her maternal granddam is Green Gables DT Southern Belle 4*P, the same Belle who is the dam of our Lady. This line produces components reliably, and Dolly is the strongest expression of it we have. She is currently in her third freshening and her 2024 daughter Legs is retained in our herd. If you are looking for a proven, documented doe with elite butterfat genetics and the pedigree to back it up, Dolly is the real thing.

    F6 and will inherit his *B - Green Gables AC She's A Doll 6*P x Storybook's Denarius

We're letting this guy and his brother unfold before we pick a keeper, but feel free to reach out if you're interested in one!

Of all our Mini Nubian bucklings this year, these are two of four most deserving of having papers.

Dolly easily earned her star as a first freshener and we think has a shot at being in the Top Ten for butterfat. She has a super nice, well-attached udder and is one of our heart goats! Her one potential area of improvement is foreudder extension, which should grow over the next couple years.

We chose Denarius for Dolly because his line has some of the nicest foreudders we've seen, so we're super hopeful for their kids (and bummed that we didn't get a girl haha!)
