TL;DR: Pros: Very food-oriented, quietly sweet, nice udder attachment, the best orifices in our herd, nice conformation, holds weight well, tons of butterfat, gives birth easily. Cons: Mediocre milk production as an FF (but will increase with further freshenings), lacks confidence.

Avalon & Nia – Bonded Mini Nubian Pair Looking for a Quiet Home
Avalon is a soft, moonspotted Mini Nubian first freshener with a gentle, timid personality and a beautiful connection to her surrogate mother, Nia — our calm, retired standard Nubian matriarch. These two are inseparable, and we’re committed to finding them a home together.
Avalon is currently producing around 3.2 lbs/day with a well-attached udder and very easy-to-milk orifices — a huge plus for hand milkers. As a first freshener, she’s still growing into her capacity and gaining confidence on the stand, but her structure gives us every reason to expect more in future lactations.
Nia is no longer breeding or milking, but she’s a grounding presence — patient, nurturing, and endlessly kind. Avalon follows her lead, relies on her for reassurance, and thrives with her at her side.
