This little darling is pictured at only two weeks, just running around with her siblings, and after getting disbudded. We were honored to be asked to be in the sale, and I am honestly feeling the imposter syndrome of a small, sort of unknown herd. Alas, I feel this girl is absolutely the best we have to offer and an exciting combination of many dedicated breeders before me!
She herself is a standout among her sisters and the kid crop as a whole. She is so stylish and long in her bone pattern. She shows a lot of natural levelness and angulation, even at just a few weeks old. This was a very intentional breeding to push forward incredible general appearance and strength in the mammary systems. I think we are off to a good start!
She is out of our best uddered doe, Primah, who has a pretty cool pedigree herself. Unfortunately, Primah hasn't been shown much due to an injury. Hopefully, that will change this year! Her pictures should speak for themselves. Primah has a pretty perfect udder in terms of the width of rear, extension to fore, teats, and medial to boot. This line is also very consistently wide in the rump and back, with good rear legs and excellent dairy strength and depth of body.
Varsity's sire is out of the 2023 National Champion and Best Udder, SGCH Heaven's Hollow Shi Saylor EX 92. Saylor is a third-generation National Champion, which I believe is the only instance of that statistic. This line is consistent in its clean general appearance, especially in the topline, front end and rear leg, and shows generations of well-attached udders that carry MILK over time. Saylor was an aged doe when she won!
