Details

And Waffles is our smallest rooster. He has tuff feathers on his feet and is quite a lovely boy. He doesn’t mind being held but he’s really small and sticks with the hens of his size. He is picked on and chased by other roosters. I’ve heard him crow once or twice but he doesn’t do it often. He lets the bigger boys lead the singing.
From the Meyer hatchery website “Porcelain Belgian Bearded d’Uccle Bantam…makes a beautiful addition to any flock with golden straw feathers that are dipped in white, with a light blue bar or crescent shape in the middle. These beauties have a muff on their cheeks which joins the beard on the throat area. Their docile and friendly personalities, accompanied by their beautiful plumage make them great for pets or exhibition. Expect males to be around 26 ounces”
