Jodi is a beautiful dark brown Morgan mare with a striking white star, and a history that has shaped her into the mare she is today. A former Amish buggy horse, Jodi came to us well mannered and gentle, with the kind of quiet confidence that only comes from real working experience.
Jodi is blind in one eye, but it has never slowed her down or changed her sweet nature. She can be a bit mareish at times, as many mares are, but overall she is a gentle, easygoing presence here at Shenandoah Highlands. Her years of experience as a buggy horse have given her excellent ground manners and a calm, steady disposition.
Morgan type and breeding are evident in her build and temperament. At around 17 years old she is a wonderful example of the breed's hardiness, versatility, and gentle spirit.
Jodi is not for sale and will remain with us here at Shenandoah Highlands, where she gets to enjoy a well deserved, easier pace of life
