At six years old he is in his prime and his calf record speaks for itself.
Max has sired some of the most beautiful and sought-after calves we have ever produced at Shenandoah Highlands. His daughter Blossom sold for $8,000, and his latest daughter Clover — a breathtaking black and white panda-marked mini heifer out of our Miniature Highland cow Iris — has already generated tremendous excitement. That two full sisters from the same dam could produce such dramatically different and beautiful color patterns speaks volumes about the genetic depth Max brings to our program.
