Farm FAQ's

common questions we are asked

Farm Entrance

Farm Entrance

  1. Do you offer farm tours?  Yes we do!  You can book online right from our home page.

  2. Can you ship your meat?  YES!  We can ship anywhere in the state of TN and for across statelines you must order from our USDA list of meats.

  3. How do I buy raw milk?  You must first sign up for a farm share and commit to a monthly subscription.

  4. Can I buy a whole animal for my freezer?  Yes we sell live animals (beef, pork and lamb) and will deliver it to our processor who you will coordinate with to give them a custom cut sheet and pay for seperately.  You will need to arrange for pickup when it is ready.

  5. Do you process the chicken yourselves?  Yes, we process all of our chickens except the select few we send to a USDA processing facility so we can provide chickens for out of state customers and restaurants.

  6. Do you feed grain? All of our animals are on grass and moved often for fresh salad bar however we do give some non GMO grain to help grow them to market weight.  The pigs and chickens are given free choice grain to eat.  Our Nubian Goats are given special grain to supplement grass and Alfalfa for that reach and creamy milk.  Our cows are mostly grass fed but with getting some grain as treats, it sure helps motivate them to come to you when you shake that bag lol.  Our laying hens are given a high protein non-gmo grain to supplement the pasture and bugs they eat everyday.

  7. What animals do you have on your farm? Cows, Broiler Chickens, Laying Hens, Turkeys, Pigs, Shetland Sheep, Katahdin Sheep, Nubian Goats, and Alpacas.  We also have our token 2 ducks that wonder all over the farm and several barn Cats, along with our large fluffy white Livestock Guardian Dogs.  My wife swears we also have a Sasquatch somewhere on the farm but I just think it is me with my shirt off working, don't tell her.
