Happy Holidays!

Take one...

Take one...

Let's do a photo card this year...this idea somehow morphed into a photo in front of our sign with three Alpacas. Oh, it seems so simple doesn't it. Lesson #1: Have someone (another human) take the photo - - it seems like an enternity for the timer on the camera to go off - especially when everyone is posed just right; and only an instant when no one is ready! Lesson #2: Alpacas can sense when the timer on the "un-manned" camera is going to go off and try and leap over you so they aren't in the shot! Lesson #3: When the guy riding by on the bike stops to see if you need any help - say "YES"! So are we going to do it again? Heck yeah we are. It was actually a lot of fun and very entertaining at times, and I don't think we ended up with too bad of a photo either. Happy Holidays! p.s. These photos were taken during the week of Dec. 17th. As I type this now, there is over 18" of snow on the ground with 2-5" more coming today - winter has arrived!
