AAWW Alpaca Expert Roadshow
AAWW proudly presents Jude Anderson & Al Cousil of Pucara Interational for a riveting, educational and entertaining weekend! The Alpaca Association of Western Washington hosted the annual education event by having two industry experts present over the weekend on a variety of topics.
Topics included the aspects of alpaca fleece, embryo transfer 101, showing, marketing tips and tricks. We certainly had good attendance as everyone was sitting on the edge of their chair soaking it all in.
Expert (Ex – Spurt) definition by Al Cousil of Pucara International. X marks the spot and spurt is water under pressure. This certainly is a comical view of the word, especially when an Australian defines it for you.
It’s fun to learn as a group, work on building relationships and it’s certainly easy to admire the success that our speakers have seen in our industry (in not only one country but two)!
Character. That’s a great word that describes it! All of us in the alpaca industry need to focus on positive attributes of this word. When we combine this with our lovely alpacas, it’s a recipe for success!
