        Golden Retriever Puppy discovers squirrels

What are you supposed to do if you're a 6 month old Golden Retriever puppy and all your doggie brothers think squirrels are invading your yard! And, all your doggie brothers are under 15 pounds and have short legs - they can't run very fast and I can! I've got really long legs and and I can chase that squirrel faster than any of my 3 brothers! I'm not sure why my parents don't appreciate my hard work??? I spend a lot of time watching and waiting to protect our yard from that pesky squirrel. When that squirrel comes within eye site - isn't it my duty to show him the wisdom of leaving our yard- FAST?? Somehow he continues to find a tree or the arbor to run up and then he just disappears! How does he do that? I sit and keep watch, looking up, just waiting and waiting. . . . Every once in a while he'll start yelling squirrel talk at me. I don't know what he's saying, because I don't speak squirrel, but I'm sure there's some bad words coming out of his squeaky little mouth! Unfortunately one of my parents will call me in for dinner before I can finish my job- except I'm really not sure what the final job is, since I always get called in for dinner every time I've got that squirrel right where I want him. But it's ok, I like dinner, I like taking a nap after dinner and I know that pesky squirrel will be out back tomorrow.
