Snowflakes are drifting slowly to the ground, dipping and tilting like tiny parachutes. The cold has arrived, insidious and stealthy, while we were busy being lulled into complacency by the lovely fall. We are surprised by its harsh bite after being caressed by the soft breezes of just a few weeks ago. In the mornings, we dutifully put on our parkas when venturing out to feed the Alpacas.
