Thank You for an Unforgettable Celebration
Double Rainbow over Sacred Acres Alpaca Farm
Hey Farm Friends!
It is a hot day on our little farm. We hope (like our alpacas) you are staying indoors, soaking up the AC, and keeping cool. We had an unforgettably amazing time at our five year celebration. Welcoming so many guests to our farm and introducing them to our alpaca is always a rewarding experience for us. It is heartwarming to watch the excitement and wonder when others meet alpacas for the first time ever.
Visitors enjoyed meeting the alpacas and learning about our lovely farmstead, browsing our alpaca farm store, fun face painting from Cynthia Pollard with Transformations, and tasty food and treats from D’Mary Deli Food Truck and Mo Betta Italian Ice. We are truly blessed to have been graced with such an enthusiastic community! The rain even held off until the event was over and all of our guests had left. There was 20 minutes of a heavy downpour followed by an immaculate double rainbow, like two ribbons in the sky, arcing right over our farmstead. Truly a sign of promise in the future as we welcome a new era of Sacred Acres Alpaca Farm.
Sacred Acres Alpaca Farm would not be what it is without our community. We would like to extend a special thank you to Darryl Gibson the President of the Fluvanna Chamber of Commerce, Jennifer Schmack the Economic Development Director at Fluvanna County, Jan Tatangelo with Women in Business. The support you give truly empowers everything that we have been able to accomplish. Thank you to Art in the Barn and to Susan Edginton for the gorgeous photography, you help create so many unforgettable memories and capture moments with such care. Thank you for attending our event and making it so special. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone for supporting our farm and continuing to be a part of our community. Our hearts are so full this week and we cannot wait for our next open farm event in September for the National Alpaca Farm Days.
We are so excited to watch our community continue to grow and we don’t want you to miss a thing! Our new social media manager will be leading bi-weekly livestreams on our Facebook page! We are looking at July 29th, next Friday, to be the first livestream. Be sure to like and follow along there and we can hang out and adventure segments of the farm together. There are 23 wooded acres along Ballinger Creek and Zoey will be spending 30 minutes walking along segments of the trails and talking about Sacred Acres Alpaca Farm and the services we offer, good mental health practices through nature, and sustainability.
Thanks again for everything and stay hydrated through this heat.
