The new studio is being designed with functionality and versatility in mind. Imagine a space that caters to all your fiber needs, from storing your precious supplies to creating stunning works of art.

The Heart of the Studio: The Kitchen Area

The renovated studio will boast a dedicated kitchen area, complete with a Keurig coffee/tea machine, a toaster oven, a refrigerator, and a deep sink – perfect for those moments when inspiration strikes and a quick refreshment is needed.

Ample Storage for a Well-Organized Studio

Say goodbye to clutter! The studio will feature cabinets and shelving designed to keep your tools and materials neatly organized. No more scrambling for that perfect skein of yarn – everything will have its designated place.

Unveiling the Workstations: A Crafter's Dream

Let's delve deeper into the heart of the creative process – the workstations! The studio will be equipped with several designated areas, each catering to a specific stage of fiber creation.

• Skirting and Carding Stations: Behind the Gentle Roller, a designated skirting table will be available for prepping the fleece before washing. Following the cleaning process, a spacious table for the drum carder will be on hand, perfect for transforming the clean fibers into fluffy clouds of carded wool, ready for spinning. This table will also double up as a multi-purpose area for large sorting projects, ensuring you have ample space for all your fiber needs.

• Swing Picker: The Prepping Partner:  The studio wouldn't be complete without our trusty swing picker. This essential tool will be readily available to help you separate clean, dry fibers, preparing the fleece for the carding process.

• The Gentle Roller Station: This dedicated spot houses our beloved "Gentle Roller" felting machine, ready to transform cleaned fleece into beautiful felted creations.

• Spinning and Balling Station: Finally, the creative magic comes alive at the spinning station! A designated table will comfortably house your yarn swift and yarn baller, streamlining the process of transforming carded wool into beautiful handspun yarn. And for those who love the vintage touch, a very old table loom will reside beneath this table, adding a touch of history to the space. Behind the table, a spinning wheel will await, ready to assist you in creating one-of-a-kind yarns.
