Welcome to Jolly Rancher Alpacas at The Island Farm
Amy and Jacob Jones, along with their toddler son Morgan, raise suri alpacas at Jolly Rancher Alpacas at The Island Farm against the beautiful backdrop of the Puget Sound on Whidbey Island in Washington!
Amy’s passion for suris started 20 years ago when she started working on a local alpaca farm as a teen. She was immediately smitten by the elegance of the suri breed along with their engaging personalities! She purchased her first alpaca at the age of 17 and now runs a herd of about 25! Jacob married into it and has enthusiastically jumped into alpaca ownership with both feet!
Amy and Jacob love the science of quality suris and enjoy utilizing all the tools available to produce show quality suris with fiber longevity. Along with the suri alpacas they also raise Tibetan yaks, beef cattle, meat rabbits, a variety of poultry, and of course their 1 year old son, Morgan. He is also quite fond of the alpacas and already helps with barn chores.
