Sopris Alpaca Farm is owned by Cory and Kim Wesson. It is 53.6 irrigated acres, situated along the I-70 corridor, near Silt, in beautiful western Colorado. We have been in the alpaca business since 2014. We raise and sell show quality alpacas.
We love the whites, but raise highly desirable alpacas in all colors.

Farm Terms & Financing
35% Down Payment is due at contract signing.
Option to pay balance over 12 equal monthly payments, 4 quarterly payments over 1 year, or 8 quarterly payments over 2 years.
Our Goal...
... is simply to raise outstanding alpacas, and share them with all, to ultimately grow this industry.
We breed about 20-25 females each year. We painstakingly consider and reconsider every aspect of each pairing before the female is exposed to the male. This is what make this industry to enjoyable. The highly heritable traits, and the rapid quality improvements within the alpaca industry, make it an exciting challenge!
Several of our males are closed to outside breedings. If you like a particular male, you may be able to purchase a daughter, or a female that is currently bred to this male.
We encouorage you to look at our animals, as we rarely post show results on social media. We do however, often share OpenHerd pages as they are created or updated, and this is a convenient way to track or look up an animals show record.
