Nimbus Farm Alpacas is a family owned and operated alpaca farm nestled in the historic rolling hills of northern Shenandoah Valley in Berryville VA. Established in 2018, our mission is to raise healthy animals with gentle disposition, superior fleece qualities, exemplary conformation, and diverse genetics. Every breeding is carefully chosen to improve and enhance the next generation.
Together, as a family, we lovingly raise our award-winning Huacaya alpacas with respect and care. Utilizing the CAMELIDynamics method, A kind, efficient, safe and science based approach to training and managing llamas and alpacas, we build a trusting and confidence based relationship.
Nimbus Farm Alpacas is a two part business, first is the alpaca farm and second is Cumulus Crafts, our fiber processing business.
In addition to breeding and selling top quality alpacas, our farm store offers homegrown yarns and luxurious fiber provided by our own Nimbus Farm herd and others from American alpacas. We clean, pick, card, spin, felt, crochet, knit, and weave by hand with the upmost attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
There is something for everyone, from luxury clothing to felted fiber arts.
We are proud members of the Alpaca Owners Association, working to improve the quality of American alpacas and the wonderful fiber products they produce.
Farm Terms & Financing
Standard industry contracts are used. We offer financing options on most purchases for qualified buyers. Free transportation is available within 150 miles of our farm.We accept Cash, Check, VISA, MasterCard and payments through PayPal.Transfer of ownership with ARI certificate will not occur until the alpaca is paid in full.
