Before the Farm  

We bought the property late Fall 2003 and moved in July 2004. The rough-hewn homestead had been a farm since 1988 with horses, oxen, chickens, fish, dogs, etc. We spent he next few years reclaiming the land and shaping it for an unknown farm future. The field was bulldozed into a pasture, the barn was repaired, solar system installed and garden placed where it had full sun all day. In 2014 we asked ourselves what will this become? With the assistance of New England Alpacas we started to see the possibilities of having a small alpaca herd, some boys to start with, just for experience. And so it began...
