Registration Fee is $10 per person. This is a charity event and at least $5 of your registration fee will be donated to a Commando, Cats and Canines.

This is an adult event and we request no children please.

All levels (including those new to yoga) are welcome!

Our wonderful instructor Terri Golder will lead us through a gentle yoga class among the alpacas. We ask that people arrive at 5:30 p.m. so that we can check everyone in and have a short alpaca feeding session before starting yoga around 6:30 p.m. The class will be approximately one hour in duration. Terri tailors her class to suit all levels of yoga offering modified versions of yoga poses if needed. We want this class to be fun, relaxing and no stress. Join us to unwind from your week and be refreshed and ready to take on the new week.

After yoga we will offer light refreshments and seating for you to visit with your friends both old and new. The store will also be open if you wish to do some shopping.

It will be dark when you leave the farm so it is suggested that you bring a flashlight to help you cross the alpaca pen. You will be walking through the alpaca pens to get to the area where the yoga will take place so make sure you wear suitable shoes. You may also want to bring a towel to go under your yoga mat.

Be certain to bring your camera or phone for pictures and your favorite water bottle.

If you do not own a yoga mat email us at windrush@plateautel.net or message us through our Facebook page and we will see if we can find you a mat to borrow for the evening.

October's Moon is called the Hunter's Full Moon. Although typically the Moon rises 50 minutes later each day, things are different for the Hunter’s Moon (as well as the Harvest Moon). Both of these moons usually rise 30 minutes later on each successive night, which means that sunset and moonrise are not far apart.

This means there is prolonged periods of light during this time of the the year, which is the reason why these moons have traditionally been used by hunters and farmers to finish their work.
