Are you looking for a fun and educational experience that allows you to explore alpacas and learn about their beautiful fleece? This tour includes an alpaca meet and greet with questions and answers, feeling alpaca fleeces and comparing them to sheep's wool and mohair, and an introduction on how the fleece is processed and turned into product.FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE YOU CAN BOOK YOUR TOUR DIRECTLY USING OUR APPOINTMENT SETTER FOUND ON OUR HOME PAGE during our tour season. Select your date, click next, find a time slot that works for you, click next, and then select the number of guests you will be bringing with you!Our farm store is stocked with alpaca products made in the US, as well as handmade items created from the fleece of our own alpacas.Visitors should plan to spend an average of 1 hour.If you are looking to take your visit to the next level, we also provide tours that end with a hands-on felt project using the fleece from our own herd of Huacaya alpacas. All farm visits must be reserved at least 36 hours ahead of time. Alpacas from MaRS is a working farm, no drop in visits will be allowed. Hand Wash Station and Porta-potty available. We love dogs, but we ask that you keep your fur friends at home. We have working livestock guardian dogs that might deem your beloved pets a threat to our alpacas. Tours available May through the end of September dependent on weather.
