Moraine has held on to her fineness pretty good with her 8 yr old micron at 25. She is bred to the KING of Lingering fineness, Rico Suave. He is maintaining a 16.5 micron at 8 yrs old!
Wow, Moraine just popped out another fawn girl. She has given us 5 girls in a row! Most of which tend to be show winners with Low microns. This past year, her crias, Balbina and Sasha, recorded 15 and 16 microns at one year of age.
A proven producer of color, Moriane gives us something to look forward to each year. This year she is bred to Accoyo Elites Rico Suave. Moraine is a very rare 3/4 Accoyo/ with the remaining 1/4 from the Macho Accoyo Region. Some might say she is "full Accoyo"
Moraine has some very impressive bloodlines. Moraine is "Felixy" FINE and "Victoriously" crimpy. WE shouldn't underestimate her Dam's contribution here: She has incredibly fine fiber as well, and Moraine's granddam, Elizabeth(on the dam's side) still maintains a 20 micron at 10 years old!!!.She is the sister to NWA, LTD Jean, dam of Barringer and the $7500 per breeding, Jericho.
Moraine is very large boned with a nice straight topline. She has beautiful peach colored crimp along with good density
We have rebred Moraine to Rico Suave, an 8 year old ,17 micron Accoyo Elite son. Moraine has produced a rosegrey girl, and a Dark brown girl, when bred to a silver gray sires. This year we are looking for a gorgeous fawn girl.cool, WE GOT IT!!!!
