    Ruby helped start our very nice herd with her solid, large bone, dense fiber and very consistent micron. She has rose grey points from her grandam and will put that color out when bred to lights.

    Description

    My husband tends to call all the cria Peanut. While I was attending to this boy one day, several days after birth and still not named, I said "what's it gonna be Buddy?" and decided then and there he would be Peabuddy. He is a character just like the Peabody and Sherman character. Peabuddy's dam Ruby usually has put her high frequency, low amp fleece with crazy density on her offspring. The only attribute i wished she had was shine and a little higher amplitude. Reno had those qualities and more since he was from a line that had excellent suri on one side of his genetics a few generations back. I haven't used Reno much because of the old "stigma" that unfortunately came with that Suri. Now people understand how those genetics can really enhance a huacaya. Anyway, for years I wanted to put these two together but chickened out thinking I couldn't sell the offspring. Knowing that Ruby would not be having anymore cria due to her age and difficulty keeping weight on with her last cria, I NEEDED to put her with Reno. I could not be happier with that decision! Peabuddy has a crazy amount of shiny, crimp, drapey, dense fleece. He has a slight pattern on his head with a white patch on his forehead (she has a mrg grandmother) and a few brown dots on his chin and cheek but his blanket is a solid golden fawn. Some of his notable ancestors are Accoyo Leon. Accoyo Augusto, Accoyo Cordero, Accoyo Felix, Xanadu Peruvian Jazz and the great female PPPeruvian Haiku. Get this boy while he is young and collect some nice ribbons and then add these genetics to your herd. His dam has dones some awesome things for our herd.
