Description

Pilar is technically "indefinite dark" in color--regular distribution of white fibers on a black-based fleece. We think this will translate to silver grey genetics, because her dam is a MAPACA Light Silver Grey Champion and her sire is True Black multi-champion Balboa of PVA. But either way, she can produce outstanding dark crias, and she is an excellent mother.

She has a medium frame--sturdy but feminine, and really excellent luster and locking. And did we mention that she has the perfect head that is the signature of her sire...AND fuzzy ears!!

And Pilar has done well in the show ring, with 6 blue ribbons!

So, we have a confession to make--we think our dogs played a major role in introducing Pilar to Red Storm, and our dogs are the matchmakers who are responsible for her outstanding first cria, Chispa. (We have very smart dogs.) But we are hopeful that her pregnancy after one exposure indicates that she will continue to be an easy breeder. Fingers crossed!
