Summer Ember is an absolutely beautiful female. Her fiber is extremely soft with beautiful character that she has retained through maturity. She also continues to produce a substantial fleece weight. This girl is an example of what every farm should be striving to achieve, an alpaca that remains productive for her entire life, in superior fleece as well as Rock Star crias. Summer is correctly conformed with elegant presence, plus her gorgeous feminine, typey head.

Shortly after purchasing Summer we sent her 7th fleece off to the Tennesee Waltz Fleece Show where it was awarded the Color Championship. Her rose grey daughter Victoria won Color Champion in Grey at the same show. We then selected Summer to breed to Aussie .38 Special, and our dreams were realized when Summer gave us their incredible silver gray daughter, Delphi's Elphi. Delphi's Elphi is the best silver cria ever to be born at Delphi Alpacas, a three time banner winner as a juvenile, including Reserve Champion at this year's Futurity.

Summer sells with her stunning Avatar daughter at her side, "Mustang Sally" who is surely to bring more banners your way.

And now Summer has been bred to the 2014 Grey Futurity Champion, KVR's Peruvian True Eye Candy. Description

Mustang Sally has a pedigree second to none, with the famous Avatar as her sire and New Forest Summer Ember as her dam. She is a beautiful chocolate brown with black tips. Perfect conformation on a solid frame, this girl has it all.

Sally's fleece is very fine, with a long staple length and an extremely soft handle. She is exhibiting excellent retained fineness as her yearling fleece stats are virtually identical to her juvenile fleece. With a current AFD of 17.6 micron and uniformity measuring at 4.3, it doesn't get any better than that for a dark female.

We were so pleased when Sally took second place in her first show at a very competitive Futurity 2015. The halter judge comments included: "lovely, fine and very, very true to type. Really long staple with incredible softness of hand."

This girl will produce champions.
