Kona is the essence of a Suri. At AWE in May 2005, Judge Ruth Elvestad not only placed her fleece in first place, but moved it to the MEDIUM ROSE GREY class. Ruth commented that there were not only sufficient white fibers there were also black fibers in the fleece. At AWE 2004 Judge Mike Safley remarked, "She is very typey."
