    Thank you, Fred & Jane! Can't believe we let this one go, especially with that breeding. Best of luck -- we hope it's another knockout fawn female. Ultrasound positive 1/28/2022 and due Sept 2022. Right out of our foundation, we offer this stellar producer bred to Ganymede for her 2022 cria!

    The pairing of Sarafina with Ganymede has always done well. The offspring they have created together are perfect IMHO! But, you don't have to take my word for it...Her 2019 cria, Ayla, was such a nice girl that we had consigned her to the Parade of Champions auction that was supposed to take place in May 2020, but due to COVID it was canceled. Ayla was sold to Meadowgate Alpacas and immediately won the fawn female Color Championship at the November 2020 VAOBA Derby under Judge Amanda Vandenbosh!

    We purchased Sarafina at The Futurity Show & Sale in 2015 as seed stock for our breeding program. Sarafina has had textbook perfect births and she displays excellent mothering instincts. Her size and conformation are just perfect for production. Also, 4 of her 5 crias have been fawn females! She's been a very healthy girl and she's easy to handle...a perfect foundation female.

    Her genetics are also impressive. Sarafina's sire, TWF Peruvian Embosser (Odyssey, Godfather, Vengador, Royal Fawn) passed on his elite fleece, handle, staple and coverage. Her dam, TWF Peruvian Saffron (Felix, Accoyo Express) also passed on her dense, bright fleece.

    Financing Terms

    Standard industry contracts are used. Breeding quality alpacas come with reproductive and live birth guarantees. You may take possession of your alpacas once the down payment is received and the “contract for purchase” signed by both parties. Transfer of ownership with ARI will not occur until full payment is received. Financing is available with 25 - 33% down, with up to 24 monthly payments. Buyer must purchase full mortality insurance for alpaca and offspring, if any, naming Man in the Moon Farm LLC as beneficiary on balance due until paid in full. Breedings include 60 day agistment unless otherwise noted. Special pricing often available for multiple alpaca purchases or multiple breeding purchase. Transportation responsibility of buyer. AUCTION & PACKAGED DEAL OFFERS: These are cash only unless different arrangements are made up front. No other discounts apply unless negotiated otherwise.
