    Apollo Creed

Suri, Herdsire (Male), Proven | True Black

    AOA# 30956995   D.O.B. 11/6/2007

    Sire:
    MacGyver's Armed & Dangerous
    | AOA# 1119893  | Light Brown  |
A 2010 RESERVE HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR - SIRE OF OUR 2010 NATIONAL JUDGES CHOICE BEST SURI FEMALE

FUTURITY AND NATIONAL CHAMPION, PRODUCING FUTURITY AND NATIONAL CHAMPIONS! And the blue ribbons and Championships have continued with his offspring. As of the spring of 2010 with his first offspring hitting the show ring, within his first two years of production his progeny racked up 32 Color Champions and 17 Reserve Champions - including Futurity Color Champions and Reserve Champions and National Color Champion and National Reserve Champions, 75 1sts and 24 2nds - I'll stop there, plus 5 1sts in Get of Sire and several other individual Bred & Owned production class wins.

MacGyver's Armed & Dangerous is all a suri breeder could ask for. Armed with tight penciled locks, density, excellent coverage and high luster; it is easy to see how MAC earned his name. A grandson of StudMaster Bruxo and the 2005 Light Herdsire of the Year, 2P Inca; son of 6 Time Herdsire of the Year, Peruvian MacGyver, this 1/2 Accoyo full Peruvian brown phenom is a product of the finest suri lineage in the country. He is an incredible 11-time champion, taking home 13 blue ribbons from the largest shows in the country, including wins at the 2006 Futurity and 2006 Nationals. With these genetics you just can't miss and MAC has the ribbons AND THE PROGENY to prove it!

PREPOTENCY? You heard it. A multi-champion producing champion after champion. Color? Brown out of white dams, TRUE black out of white dams-1/2 the crias shown on this page came from white dams! We are seeing him add very good density, tons of luster, fineness and handle, as well as consistency of lock structure in his offspring. MAC can do it all.

Partial interest in Armed & Dangerous is available.

    Dam:
    Shakespeare's Raven Shay
    | AOA# 1373752  | True Black  |
Wow, what a raving beauty she is! If you ever had the chance to see Raven you are sure to remember her. Raven's got what the judges are cravin' - she racked up 3 Color Championships as a Juvi and as a yearling continued to captivate the judges, earning another blue and 2 MORE Championships! She finished her long show career proving herself to be definitively one of the top 3 black females in the country. Tim Lavan at NIAE after awarding her the championship said Raven had the "best fleece & finest micron in the class. . . put your hands on this girl & you won't even know you're touching a black." This girl's show record is a mile long and with 5 championships to her credit, she's one of the most decorated black females in the country. But the glamour hasn't gone to her head, she's also one of the sweetest girls on our farm. THAT'S SO RAVEN!

The most incredible luster in true black fleece; ridiculously ropey locks to the skin and fine, cool, silky handle on this girl. Beautiful suri wedge head, full-fleeced face and beard; density and coverage head to toe; plus presence - this girl is a show-stopper. With grey grandsires on both sides of her pedigree, maroon parents and her gleaming black locks; black, maroon, and grey crias are on the horizon for our breeding program and we couldn't be more excited.

Raven was bred to our own MacGyver's Armed and Dangerous and with 16 championships between them; Raven's first cria Apollo Creed is a gorgeous true black male of the utmost quality with Mom's ropey fleece. Raven was then rebred to MacGyver's Armed and Dangerous and had a gorgeous dark brown daughter Rhiannon. Both Apollo and Rhiannon have taken blue ribbons and both have taken a Championship.

This year we are very excited to see what Raven can do with our Champion Bad Bad Leroy Brown. As Leroy's dam has produced 7 cria, 5 of which were black, and his sire has also thrown black, we think this combo may produce something black and spectacular in 2010.
