    SA Peruvian Alivia has given us three beautiful girls thus far...Alivia is a prime example of a breeding dam that has retained a high quality uniform fleece well into her mature years. With her uniformity and Vicuna coloring, she is a rare gem that is a fantastic addition to our foundation herd. Her crias are absolutely beautiful---each maintaining extremely fine crimp structure, incredible fineness, and excellent staple length. They would be good candidates for Produce of Dam. Alivia is a great mom, and she proved herself with her August 2016 cria (out of Snowmass Royal Rose), WP Royal Lyvi (SOLD). She also proved that she can throw color! Lyvi is a light brown female with exquisite fleece characteristics. She won 2nd place in walking fleece (67.5/80) at 2018 Heart of Virginia right behind the Color Champion, who was none other than AMAF Lucy's Little Ricky -- a multi-champ and Judges Choice male. July 2017 cria, MMFA Elite Maxine, is out of The Elite Maximus. She is a beautiful white female with 2018 histogram stats of 15.3/3.5/22.6/0.3 and she received a blue ribbon at her first show. One of our very best dams is an Elite Maximus daughter with histogram stats of 18.5/3.5/19.0/0.6 at 5 years old---and passing it on with density to boot! We expect Elite Maxine to do the same. September 2018 cria, Ganymede's Summer Moon, didn't disappoint. She's an extremely nice little girl that we can't wait to get into the show ring. She's been recently weaned and we hope to show her in Spring 2019. Alivia is out of the great SA Peruvian Apollo, an impact herdsire with more than 180 registered offspring and hundreds of descendants from there. He obviously received and passed on the amazing genetics of his parents, PPPeruvian Royal Fawn 6014 and PPPeruvian Aphrodite 5070, both direct imports that have contributed greatly to the positive progression of the alpaca industry today.

    Congrats to Amanda, Trae & Ady! What a sweet and lovely girl! First impressions are that this little white female is going to be amazing! Strong bone, fine bright fleece, density and wonderful crimpy cria curls! This one was hard to part with for sure!

    Her dam, SA Peruvian Alivia, is one of our favorites on the farm, and this little girl is quickly falling into the same category. Alivia is out of the great SA Peruvian Apollo, an impact herdsire with more than 180 registered offspring and hundreds of descendants from there. He obviously received and passed on the amazing genetics of his parents, PPPeruvian Royal Fawn 6014 and PPPeruvian Aphrodite 5070, both direct imports that have contributed greatly to the positive progression of the alpaca industry today.

    Summer's incredible herdsire, GANYMEDE, is the 2017 AOA National Light Male Supreme Champion! 4X Judge's Choice + 11X Color Champion + 1X Best Bred & Owned at 29 months old & breeding! His fleece is the same ALL over! And, we're pretty sure he's passing it on! Ganymede has an advanced elite fleece, indeed, and a gorgeous, boxy conformation. Judges called it early on...and he achieved top honors at the 2017 AOA National Show as the Supreme Champion Light Huacaya Male, including the White Invited Male Color Championship, bringing his total to 11X Color Championships and 4X Judges Choice awards (PAOBA, CABO, TxOLAN, Nationals)...a Banner for every show he attended in the 2016/2017 show season!

    Ganymede has an amazing fleece with an unbelievable structure and density. He exhibits a tight little zipper crimp with extreme uniformity, matchstick bundling, brightness and fineness across his fleece...the character lasting well down into his legs and belly. This is what the Judges have said:
    "his fleece is the same from skin to tip, back to front, all over..."
    ...he is "the same...all over."
    This is exactly what you want to hear.

    Financing Terms

    Standard industry contracts are used. Breeding quality alpacas come with reproductive and live birth guarantees. You may take possession of your alpacas once the down payment is received and the “contract for purchase” signed by both parties. Transfer of ownership with ARI will not occur until full payment is received. Financing is available with 25 - 33% down, with up to 24 monthly payments. Buyer must purchase full mortality insurance for alpaca and offspring, if any, naming Man in the Moon Farm LLC as beneficiary on balance due until paid in full. Breedings include 60 day agistment unless otherwise noted. Special pricing often available for multiple alpaca purchases or multiple breeding purchase. Transportation responsibility of buyer. AUCTION & PACKAGED DEAL OFFERS: These are cash only unless different arrangements are made up front. No other discounts apply unless negotiated otherwise.
