Description

Thank You, Heidi & Joshua! Dixie's pedigree is stacked with black and gray! She delivered a very nice female cria, Astra, on 5/31/20! This little girl was drinking from the milk bar before she could even stand! Astra, already exhibits very nice fleece qualities with lots of little curls. And, did I say that her eyelashes are amazing?!...She's going to be a very pretty female!

Dixie's a beautiful girl with a lovely personality, and she also has good fleece qualities that she's passing on to her progeny. Her histogram is indicative of uniformity, and her stats are very good. Dixie is one of those girls that is a pleasure to have on the farm, and she's shown to be an excellent momma. Her last cria, Telesto, sold at his first show.

Astra's sire, GANYMEDE, is a 12x Banner, 4x Judges Choice male that also happens to be the 2017 AOA National Supreme Light Male Champion! Take a look at Ganymede's web page. He only has a few cria on the ground at this point, but we are extremely pleased with what we're seeing. He's passing on excellent crimp, uniformity across the blanket, and fineness!

Dixie's been exposed to Man in the Moon's Prometheus for a Spring 2021 cria. Prometheus is an excellent banner winning male out of Sunset Hills Zagato and WP Elite Delilah (who is out of The Elite Maximus). He's just starting his breeding career and we're very excited to see what he can do. He has a beautiful staple length and crimp style, and we think he'll also be a good match for Dixie.

Dixie's sire, MFI Peruvian Titan's Clash, is full Peruvian and 3/4 Accoyo, sired by 6Peruvian Accoyo Titan with PPPeruvian Dracula as maternal grandsire. He has 150 registered offspring, and it's no wonder, with his phenomenal fiber and perfect conformation.

Sweet Dixie's life was tragically cut short when a tree limb fell on her following an ice storm. RIP sweet girl!

Financing Terms

Standard industry contracts are used. Breeding quality alpacas come with reproductive and live birth guarantees. You may take possession of your alpacas once the down payment is received and the “contract for purchase” signed by both parties. Transfer of ownership with ARI will not occur until full payment is received. Financing is available with 25 - 33% down, with up to 24 monthly payments. Buyer must purchase full mortality insurance for alpaca and offspring, if any, naming Man in the Moon Farm LLC as beneficiary on balance due until paid in full. Breedings include 60 day agistment unless otherwise noted. Special pricing often available for multiple alpaca purchases or multiple breeding purchase. Transportation responsibility of buyer. AUCTION & PACKAGED DEAL OFFERS: These are cash only unless different arrangements are made up front. No other discounts apply unless negotiated otherwise.
