Congratulations to Eric and Leanne Stoneberg of Stoneberg's Alpacas for their purchase of Silk Bamboo at the 2019 CABA Classic auction. We were so excited to see her win Color Champion in her class at the show after the auction!!

The stunning Big Timber’s Silk Bamboo is sired by 12X Champion Crescent Moon’s Accoyo Augustine and out of Crescent Moon’s Mahela. Silk Bamboo’s elite genetics include Titan, El Nino, Legacy and Elite.

Sire 12X Champion Augustine has top 5% EPDs and has produced many champions as one of the cornerstone herd sires at Crescent Moon. Augustine is a gorgeous stud male with an extremely advanced fleece.

Dam Mahela has top 1% EPDs and produces beautiful offspring who place high in their shows. Mahela is an excellent dam who also carries a dense, soft fleece.

These elite genetics infused in Silk Bamboo to create a very bright, soft fleece with high amplitude crimp. This stylish female has superior density and staple length on a well-balanced strong feminine frame.
