Exceptional Data Translates to Exceptional Progeny. PICASSO'S biopsy and histogram scores are outstanding and the proof of his quality is in his offspring. Picasso sons and daughters have garnered numerous banners, Judge's Choice Awards and AOA National Supreme Championship!

Look at PICASSO'S stats and you can understand why he consistently produces top quality offspring. His biopsy scores are some of the best we've seen. S/P ratio of 11.1-1 and micron variation of just 3.8!! (19.1 to 22.9 microns) Add to this, high density of 58.25 follicles/sq mm, top gland rating of 4/4, and only 30% medullated fibers resulting in a dense, fine fleece with outstanding, smooth handle.

At three years of age, six fiber samples were taken. Three on each side, hip. mid-side and shoulder. The results showed amazing consistency of micron across the blanket, low SD and high comfort factor.

PICASSO has an exceptional, award winning, sire and dam, and he himself has been twice named Champion at Futurity. PICASSO is sired by Shavano, the signature true black herdsire at Great Lakes Ranch, and the 2010 Futurity Dark Herdsire of the Year. PICASSO'S dam, Rockstar's Peruvian Paloma, is a multiple color champion producing exceptional cria.

PICASSO'S first offspring was GLR Amayah, and she was named Reserve Brown Female Color Champion as a juvenile at the 2013 AOBA Nationals. The next year Amayah, continued to win championships and the coveted Judges Choice Award at the Futurity, and Brown Color Champion at the Suri Network Fleece show. Picasso's beautiful true black daughter, GLR Jamiyah, was a multiple color champion and earned 2 Judges Choice awards at the 2015 AOA Nationals and the 2015 MAPACA Jubilee. Two notable 2015 Picasso cria that made waves in the show ring in the spring of 2016 were GLR Joaquin, who started his show career at just over six months old and won the Reserve Brown Color Championship at the 2016 AOA Nationals and also at the MAPACA Jubilee. GLR Sombria, a true black Picasso daughter, started her show career at just seven months old and won the 2016 AOA, MAPACA and GWAS Black Female Color Championship and the 2016 AAA Futurity Reserve Black Female Championship. And, now Picasso's daughter, GLR Sloan, has been named the 2018, AOA National Supreme Champion. Picasso's kids are rocking the show ring. Shouldn't your girls be breeding to Picasso?

Description

Allesandra is a gorgeous female sired by 5X Champion GLR Picasso and out of 5X Champion Stone Brooke's Midnight Lockdown. She is a half sister to multi-champion Goldstar's Vader out of her dam side. When we saw this girl offered in the 2019 Amber Autumn Auction, we jumped at the opportunity to add these top quality black genetics to our color breeding program.

Her sire GLR Picasso has outstanding density and fineness with an extremely low secondary/primary spread of only 3.8 microns. This small spread and level of fineness in fibers places him in the top 2% of suris for fineness per Dr. Norm Evans. These fiber stats create an extremely uniform, fine fleece with an excellent handle.

Her dam, Midnight Lockdown has produced many black champion offspring including Goldstar's Vader, who in turn is producing Supreme Champion and Judges Choice offspring.

Allesandra has a very fine, uniform fleece with an extremely soft handle encapsulated in a beautifully organized lock structure. She is a very stylish female, with a solid frame exhibiting great conformation and a beautiful Suri head.

Allesandra was biopsied at 34 months. Her density measures 69.75 follicles SQMM. Her S/P ratio is 12 to 1 and her S/P spread is only 9 micron. Her biopsy AFD was 19.24 microns. Allesandra has very fine secondary fibers measuring at 18.5 micron. Her biopsy results indicate extreme fineness, density and micron uniformity for her age and color group.
