Description

Shadow was born as a LF and to our suprise, turned out light silver grey!

Her dam Sierra has consistently produced some of our best crias and Shadow is no exception. This female has good conformation and her fleece shows great density, good fineness and a tight crimp on a long staple. Shadow has a completely uniform LSG blanket (no spots) and she has darker extremities which is reminiscent of her paternal harlequin grand-dam J-Lynn.

We have always wondered if she could have inherited that harlequin gene on top of the classic gene which would explain her total shift in fleece colour around the age of 7 to 8 months old. Unfortunately, genotyping cannot help in determine if she is carrying the harley gene but one thing is for sure, she definitely will be producing some classic greys.

We look forward to working with this female for many years to come!
