A Platinum Marquis Beauty - When Satin was born it was said that she appeared to be a slick black girl and after two weeks her top line started to show silver. After shearing more silver spots appeared on her neck and back hip area. We feel fortunate to own both her and her half-sister, Victoria. Their sire, Platinum Marquis was quite the multiple champion. Adding to that, her dam was a very lusterous fawn that had an AFD of 22.7 - SD of 5 at 5 years old! She also has Torbio in her lineage. We were pretty excited to purchase her thinking of her genetics and coloring for breeding potential.

We sent Satin's fleece up for processing and had a really nice yield of yarn off her young, frame - really, pretty impressive amount and the color looked black with nice luster!

Satin gave birth to her first cria with no assistance for either of them whatsoever. She had a very nice dark silver grey boy by Greystone's Marko. He looked so similar to her at birth but after sharing much more silver grey showed through.

Satin's 2nd cria was from none other than "Sir Oliver Twist of WAP" Oliver took about 10 championships AND judges choices awards among his stellar show career! I think we reserved a breeding to him before he received a judges choice award. Oliver is loaded with locks and his conformation makes your heart pitter patter. We are very happy to have the beautiful, golden girl to add to our foundation. She took a 1st in her class at AOA Nationals in Nebraska.

Satin bred with GLR Suton in 2020. He is a beautiful dense, black Cinder's boy with some grey color on his dam's side and Satin delivered a dark grey beauty! She looks to be one of our best silver greys yet. Satin has made us beyond thrilled!

We have had a few pending sales on Satin and unfortunately transportation made it cost prohibitive for one other side of the US & one being Ireland. She is currently available.

We are contemplating breeding her to GLR Armani to see if he will dazzle us with something in the grey arena.

This guy has a pedigree of the old well-knowns, including Bracito, Torbio, Macqyver... His name came by thinking of rock & roller Grace Slick. Slick has proven to be the perfect name time and time again.

He was born sturdy, strong and packing the fleece! We had not seen or felt so many skin wrinkles on a newborn body and neck. They almost flapped over on the sides. Beautiful luster & fineness like no other we had seen. We mean fine!

One of our most anticipated births. This was one of those pairings that it wasn't going to make a difference on gender, you plan on it being a keeper. I fell for this girl's sire, long before his first Judge's choice award and before he was old enough to breed lol. Sir Oliver Twist of WAP has magnificent conformation & fleece attributes and a stellar show career...

When breeding time came, we didn't have too many "open" females to send. We felt a breeding to Oliver could possibly bring more density and uniformity to her offspring. I truly couldn't help myself given Oliver's dam is dark silver grey.

Despite Satin having birthed silver grey before, this beautiful golden girl arrived. We named her "Heaven Touching Earth" - Hettie is her nickname. We think she could really take our suri foundation females to a much higher level. Her fleece had beautiful lock, luster and the regrowth after shearing. We ended up sending this girl to a show in Nebraska. She received a 1st place in her class.

Hettie was a perfect first time mother. She birthed a beautiful interesting copper-colored female with really nice luster from VNF Drakkar, an extremely lovely Rose grey, Armani son, who's dam is a Nico daughter. Her one and only (so far) Sidney Scotch Brown has had a nice show record with a couple championships and comments from the judge including her high luster and a nearly perfect, true to type suri head!

We are praying we can get this girl pregnant again.
