AWH WindchimesTop 5% EPDs in nearly all categories AWH WindchimesSuriFemaleWhite AOA# DOB: 12/24/20139 yrs This girl ranks in the top 5% EPDs in most every category. She has had a couple babies born similar to her with a fawn saddle and beautiful shiny locked fleece when bred to light to multi and even greys.
She produced such a nice multi girl from our modern grey sire GLR Armani that we decided to dabble with silver grey and bred her to "Worthy Journey"
Windchimes once again effortlessly birthed a nice sized male. This guy is so beautiful and bulky that we have decided we should probably hang on to her at this time. He has interesting markings being fawn with white mask and dark ears, we have had comments that he is like a palomino. We really appreciate Windchimes conformation and t...

We like his conformation, head, full fleece coverage in the face and his eyelashes. His partial collar makes him look like a distinguished young gentleman!
His sire tends to throw very nice luster and fineness in grey! His dam is a Psylent Knight daughter and when I reflect back on her show days, what a beauty. Her name is "Worth the Wait" - aka "Worthy" so we named him "Worthy Journey."
He just sired a nice robust fawn male, from a pattern dam. He is not only beautifully marked with considerably shiny fleece he is really stocky. Journey is currently booking dates this summer.

Axie by Vantaggiofrom grey and multi Axie by VantaggioHuacayaFemaleLight Fawn AOA# DOB: 5/28/20193 yrs Axie is a daughter of the multi-champion Vantaggio Di Bisturi. He is a gorgeous grey guy that we do not happen to own any of his offspring or have those genetics. So needless to say we were very excited to obtain Axi. Even more so now that her mother passed away unexpectedly. She is a light fawn color with cute markings in her face.
We think it will be really fun to see what she is capable of producing in any color. We bred her to the brawny TWT Dizzy Gillepspi a dense rose grey guy and she birthed a nice sturdy male effortlessly on her own. She seems to enjoy motherhood....

In various shows he was entered as rose grey, moved to bay black and then in another show he was entered in dark brown. His fleece score cards showed above average density with very nice handle/micron and brightness. This guy had the heaviest blanket 7.2 pounds over 11 pounds total shear in 2021! Considering he is approaching middle-age that is pretty impressive.
He is certainly eye catching. His stance and his beautiful head, with fleece of an almost maroon hue. Nice conformation. We anticipate he got his nice density and fleece from his sire, also a champion, Accoyo America's Hawkeye. Dizzy is out of a ...

She looked so sleek & elegant. We couldn't quite settle on a name. That black Bolero jacket pattern helped us decide on the name "Bolero Giacca" Italian for bolero jacket. "Gia" for short, which the name means God is gracious. She was a spunky and fun little one that loved to run.
Her dam, Dancing Elk's Isabella is one of our favorites, beautiful and full of personality and her sire, 4-Sight's Crawford, simply Ahhmazing silver grey fleece.

Kisu's Kingsleycheck out her pedigree Kisu's KingsleySuriFemaleWhite AOA# DOB: 9/25/20193 yrs We were ecstatic to finally get a girl from our best producing dam that had given us 3 boys in a row.
We thought that if this girl turns out anything like her full older brother, we are already beyond thankful. Super strong and sturdy at birth. Shiny silky fleece. We kept her in full fleece to show and covid happened. She showed at Nationals in Nebraska and received a 6th place in the Full Fleece Suri Light Female Yearling Never Shorn. We were not discouraged, with her genetics we suspect she will be a fantastic producer.
We bred her to Sierra Bonita's Max because her mother had produced such a stunner with that pairing before. She had a nice bright female. We expect her to k...

Liv Like You R Lovedlovely young female Liv Like You R LovedHuacayaFemaleBay Black AOA# DOB: 6/8/20193 yrs Describe this girl's color to someone even with a color wheel - I'd say out of the wheelhouse. After shearing she reminded me of crushed velvet. She is likely a dark rose grey to bay black - similar to her half-brother TWT Dizzy Gillepsi. She is a 4-Sight's Crawford daughter that we couldn't be happier about.
We named her after a song title, "Live like you're loved"... aka lovie - She is one of those girls, I decided to send her fleece in and added a little bright blue bamboo for a splash of color - did it turn out to be a fan favorite!
We bred her to Aslan didn't think she took her first breed and then tried Adelante but she adamantly refused. She birthed unassisted and had her dark...

Boa's Aslan 2013A Regal Beauty Boa's Aslan 2013HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Dark Brown ARI# AOA# 32406382 DOB: 12/16/20139 yrs A male alpaca may be considered special when you go to look at a female for sale, have no plans on adding more males to your herd and you buy him anyway. We actually think he may be one of those true treasures that might have just sat around not being utilized. Too bad he didn't get a chance to be shown. Majestic looking, yet so cute you just want to squeeze him. He sometimes lets you. He is more of a loveable lion, like his name Aslan.
Obviously, this guy has great fleece coverage. He needed eye holes trimmed so he could see and although his whole face was sheared it grew back in again at 4 years old. He is a lovely color with a dark fawn/red hue. Still exhibiting beautiful coverage ...

Marquis' Lilac RoseStunning light silver Marquis' Lilac RoseSuriFemaleLight Silver Grey AOA# DOB: 9/15/20175 yrs The lovely Lilac Rose - The prior owner of her dam had wanted to name her Grace when she was born, but we already had that name in our herd. So we went with a visual description of her fleece, the color hues of nearly pink purple tips - you had to see in person. Her mother "Mary" is a real doll and this girl was born curious and sweet as can be. We can hardly stand it she is so cute and personable!
Motherhood has just seemed to make Lilac even sweeter. She was one of the rare moms that licked her baby from head to toe upon delivery - a matter of fact she licked a few of us months following lol. Witnessing her birth was one of those extremely special moments. Besides textbook delivery...

Admiral had 4 First Place ribbons as a juvenile and went on to do well as a yearling and 2 year old. His mama, Stonebrook's Midnight Lockdown, is jet black, and we're betting on his ability to throw black (although I don't think we'll be disappointed with any fawn crias, either!).

Paola Paca WayjaBrokered -Honeysuckle Rose Alpaca Ranch Paola Paca WayjaSuriFemaleWhite AOA# DOB: 8/10/20166 yrs This robust female is in the top 10% EPDs in fleece categories of fineness and uniformity. Her sire took a 3rd place at CABA. He was sired by Accoyo Kaden. Her dam took a 1st place at Alpaca Festival of Oregon.
At Wayja's prior ranch she had some type of accident that she lost a big part of one of her ears - it thankfully doesn't seem to affect her, other than cosmetic.
Wayja birthed a nice fawn female named Willow for Alpacas At Windy Hill and that daughter just gave birth to one of the beefiest, fleece covered boys we have laid eyes on. Trust me we have seen many boys born.

Then later are told they did a repeat breed and are hoping for a Juliet. Not only does that happen, but they both come all the way from Montana to join our herd.
Juliet in her cria fleece, just wow! At her first show in Denver the halter judge singled her out to check her color in the grey class and said she is a roan color and was in the right class. In walking fleece she received a maximum score in uniformity of color & length, a 7 of 10 in brightness and 7.5 of 10 in uniformity of micron and above average...

She is a gorgeous color and has a special story and place in her prior owner's heart partly due to the TLC that she needed early on. We feel fortunate to have added her to our foundation.
For her first breeding we decided to take a gamble on color and bred her to our dark fawn guy BOA's Aslan. Something in their faces and stature just spoke to me as being a good pairing. The transaction read like a who's on first - what's on second. She was bred to Psylent Knight a beautiful bay black guy that two other females sired by him had taken color Championshps at Futurity. I grew excited looking over pedigrees, this is a slight linebreed on MacGyver (great and gr grandsires) We did not know her due date, our vet happened to check "Wait for it" since all his other crias had been born already and said she thought she had another week or two. Born from a smaller mom & dad that have amazing fiber and coverage, we didn't expect to add much in size but this was a first birth for her mom. She is certainly a standout in the pasture and her fleece looks & feels fabulous and just keeps coming in. We don't mind if she takes her time growing. Zendaya's name means, to "give Thanks". For whatever reason the system had a glitch and we could not give her sire credit in the name. Oddest thing, we tried extra zz's in her name, and different variations. Finally it allowed the name from her dam, so Zendaya from Zurich th...

Dancing Elk's Isabella1st place winner - bright black Dancing Elk's IsabellaHuacayaFemale (bred)True Black AOA# DOB: 9/1/20166 yrs We didn't know in summer of 2017 when we picked up two girls from Dancing Elk alpacas that we would be back again so soon. When we saw firsthand how they are cared for, recognize the integrity and discernment made in a breeding program, we literally said we want to buy more but needed to sell some first (Imagine that concept) Fortunately it worked out. We just love Isabella's maternal grandmother and we feel so very fortunate this girl was available.
Isabella, as beautiful as her name - Beautiful black out of silver grey parents. Information off of Dancing Elk's site her sire, Argenta Granite passes on consistent crimp and long staple length to his multiple, award-winning offspring.

Majestic's ArmaniJumanji X CCNF Arusha son Majestic's ArmaniHuacayaJr. Herdsire (Male)Beige ARI# AOA# 35415596 DOB: 8/21/20202 yrs We have been looking for a couple years for a male with amazing qualities to bump up our herd quality. While we have been focusing on light fawn, when this beige guy presented himself we just had the feeling we might not get an opportunity like this again. Armani is actually the offspring of two darker fawn parents. We bought this young male before even seeing him in person, before he entered the ring and won a first place at Futurity!
Ironically we already have an alpaca named Armani - our original Armani was from Great Lakes Ranch and is on the suri side of our herdsire line up. This guy is on the huacaya side coming from the prestigious Majestic Meadow's breeding program. We will h...

B Canyon Alpacas La Luna De Fresafull of color ! B Canyon Alpacas La Luna De FresaHuacayaFemale (bred)Medium Silver Grey, Dark Silver Grey AOA# DOB: 6/10/20175 yrs This girl may be one of my favorite looking alpacas yet. Say what you want about breeding for color uniformity until you see the colors on this one... Just gorgeous markings and coloring different greys with big maroon spots. She was aptly named, La Luna De Fresa (strawberry moon) since we already have a Luna we have re-named her similar sounding to Leilani, heavenly lei... Her sire was silver grey but her dam was more that vicunua type looking dark fawn with white underbelly yet parts of her were so dark they are that maroon/bay black color. We posted a picture of her grand-dam so you get the idea.
Leilani bred multiple times but has not had a baby. A bit risky to breed her with El R...

El R Rembrandt's AdelanteSALE PENDING ! El R Rembrandt's AdelanteHuacayaHerdsire (Male)White ARI# AOA# 32282887 DOB: 5/11/201111 yrs We looked at Adelante a little while back and were impressed with his density and beautiful, bright, fleece. At the time we didn't have a lot of light-colored females to utilize him but recently we decided to head in that direction. His pedigree shows some classics; El Nino, Pperuvian Legacy & Caligula. His dam won a championship in fawn at the California Classic. His sire is top 5% EPDs most every category. Read about his sire, Rembrandt by El Nino, who was awarded championships three times along with a reserve championship in his show career. His skin biopsy was referred to as a high density animal, to quote "This view is supported by the high level of secondary follicle development tha...

Wine on the LanaiFour 1st places at shows! Wine on the LanaiSuriFemale (bred)Medium Silver Grey, Medium Rose Grey AOA# DOB: 6/11/20202 yrs We bred one of our favorite females, the lovely "Lilac Rose"- a beautiful, light silver grey, with an endearing personality, to WI the Admiral, who we feel is a"top stud at Windy Hill. He is not only one of the densest alpaca we have seen but has beautiful super shiny locks and a face that is too darn cute. All of that and some amazing genetics behind him. Given he is a Goldstar son we can not tell you how excited we were to land this color of a female by him. When Lilac gave birth to Lanai she started licking her all over, it was such a special birth to witness.
2020 an odd year to say the last, so we kind of went with a name imagining ourselves having a nice "wine on the lanai" overl...

GLR ArmaniStunning Rose Grey Suri GLR ArmaniSuriHerdsire (Male)Light Fawn, Medium Rose Grey, Dark Rose Grey ARI# AOA# 32138368 DOB: 11/6/201012 yrs GLR Armani came from the Great Lakes Ranch breeding program. So, it was no shock that he took 3 reserve championships of which were Futurity and the National Alpaca Show. While, Armani originally was registered as fawn color, soon afterward his unique coloring appeared that still makes hearts pitter-patter. He has a regal presence, high luster, nice bone, an amazing freckled face - all with a gentle confidence. There aren't too many full Peruvian grays in the world, and Armani is ROSE gray--a shade of taupe that swirls and stripes his body like a water color painting. He puts a whole new spin on "unusual".
While Armani won numerous awards, we think even better yet, he has numerous award-...

Platinum's SatinSALE PENDING ! Platinum's SatinSuriFemale (bred)Dark Silver Grey AOA# DOB: 10/10/20148 yrs A Platinum Marquis Beauty - When Satin was born it was said that she appeared to be a slick black girl and after two weeks her top line started to show silver. After shearing more silver spots appeared on her neck and back hip area. We feel fortunate to own both her and her half-sister, Victoria. Their sire, Platinum Marquis was quite the multiple champion. Adding to that, her dam was a very lusterous fawn that had an AFD of 22.7 - SD of 5 at 5 years old! She also has Torbio in her lineage. We were pretty excited to purchase her thinking of her genetics and coloring for breeding potential.
We sent Satin's fleece up for processing and had a really nice yield of yarn off her young, fram...

Santa Lucia by WI The Admirallightest fawn from grey Santa Lucia by WI The AdmiralSuriFemale (bred)Light Fawn AOA# DOB: 8/27/20202 yrs Santa Lucia, is growing up quite lovely. We remember the pitter patter of her feet running in the pasture bringing happiness to our hearts.
Her dam is an Armani daughter that is one of the most beautiful grey colors. We chose a stud that stamps his conformation and density on most everyone he breeds to. Her sire WI The admiral was a gorgeous fawn full brother to Vader. Since Admiral is fawn from a black dam our secret hope was for grey, but we think she is quite stunning in her light fawn with hints of gold. She is so light in color, yet there is a tinge of color on her top line and her head. Talk about a beautiful color for yarn! Beautiful luster and lock.

Worthy JourneyJourney on Worthy JourneySuriJr. Herdsire (Male)Medium Silver Grey ARI# AOA# 36016747 DOB: 6/8/20193 yrs Oh my my. We just love the way this guy looks!

Tabokia's White Gold Gardeniacute factor Tabokia's White Gold GardeniaHuacayaFemale (bred)White AOA# DOB: 9/1/20175 yrs What do you get when you do a repeat breed of a black dam to a medium silver guy when they had a medium silver cria together the year prior? You get a surprising reminder that grey is unpredictable as the least likely suspected color pops out! As I watched the delivery, I thought wow an all white head, white feet, likely be a tux but as she came out solid white from head to toe - well almost, she has grey skin at feet, dark eyes and eyelids with liner.
We thought about naming her sterling or grey gardenia just in case she changed from white to grey. One of my mom's favorite flowers were gardenias and she was allergic to silver so had jewelry made of white gold, hence White Gold Gar...

Juliet's Jubileegrey goodness Juliet's JubileeHuacayaFemale (bred)Medium Silver Grey, Medium Rose Grey AOA# DOB: 8/7/20202 yrs Super sturdy and elegant grey girl. Birthed and up straight and to nursing in no time at all. The way we like them to be born.
When you have a nice robust female with dense fleece it allows you many options come breeding time. We decided to try for the color option of our preference "silver grey" by breeding to a nice fine and uniform-fleeced guy. 4-Sight's Crawford has amazing fleece and that is especially nice because of his deep grey genetics. Right out of the starting gate Juliet delivered this beautiful grey girl.
We couldn't be happier with Jubilee. While Crawford was our go-to guy for a few seasons and has some nice offspring to his credit, I think this one may be the one t...

Granite Bay's Blue SilverBig Bright Blue Silver Granite Bay's Blue SilverHuacayaJr. Herdsire (Male)Medium Silver Grey ARI# AOA# 35376217 DOB: 11/2/20202 yrs When you fall in love with a certain breeding program appreciating their achievement in brightness (in grey color) you can hardly resist the temptation to add to your herd. We had recently sold quite a few of our males and had a little bit of seller's remorse, when we saw a post regarding some of Granite Bay beauties being available. Before other life circumstances could delay, we acquired him, sight-unseen. Well, we did have fleece shots and knew the reputation of care and lineage so we weren't worried one bit about what would be on the end of the lead when we received him. We couldn't wait to meet him at the show. One of our favorite esteemed judges was the fleece judge and she took a ...
