Dr Norm Evans' skin biopsy report:

“BRKRD Goldstar’s Jet” was biopsied as a 22 month old dark brown suri male. His ARI# is 32364064. His 15x scan shows fiber clusters that are very symmetrical and uniform in size, shape and placement within his connective tissue. This trait was passed from his dam. His density was 69.75 follicles SQ MM of skin with a 9.6 MM punch which adjust to a true density of 66.96 follicles SQ MM of skin. His S/P ratio from 25 fiber clusters averages 11.6 to 1. Note on the S/P & 250x scan that only 30% of his secondary fibers are medullated as shown by the red spots in the center of the fibers which should relate to excellent handle. He shows level 3 of 4 gland structure. This trait was likely passed from his sire. The glandular infrastructure is likely genetic and gland density if likely nutritional. The average density that I evaluated in 2011-12 in mature Suri males that I assume breeders considered their best is noted on the third page of the new current summary. One hundred secondary fibers averaged 27.8 microns while 50 primary fibers averaged 35.1 microns. This equates to a micron variation of 7.3 microns. Jet’s strong points are certainly his density, S/P, gland presence and the low secondary medullation.

Description

Confirmed pregnant and will deliver Spring 2023 cria sired by WLK Berenger. I feel this union will produce dark and will probably regret listing her for sale but I need to make room for 2023 cria season.

Her sire is Goldstar's Jet, the 2018 AOA National and Futurity Dark Get of Sire Champion! Jet has since passed and these genetics are limited. Bonnie's dam is RGSA Sriracha (Sniper daughter) who was biopsied at 22 months with a density of 73.25! She is a clear choice for any program looking for a stunning production female that will throw dark offspring.

Bonnie finished 2nd in a class of 8 at her first and only show of 2020! She finished 2nd to the Supreme Champion at the 2020 AOA Nationals Show. We will be showing her in full fleece for the 2021 campaign starting off with the 2021 AOA National Show.

Bonnie finished strong with 2 second places at the double show in Maryland, Mapaca Jubilee and Mapaca Gala. She was second to Raynay's Zephyr, the 2021 AOA National Supreme Champion. Both judge's commented that Zephyr and Bonnie were beautiful examples of suri alpacas. Zephyr took the class with her slightly higher degree of density and luster. This Spring we are going to breed Bonnie to MMALP Beau's Salvo, a banner winning light fawn son of Black Beau of PVA. Bonnie delivered a handsome medium fawn male Spring 2022 that will be part of our show string.
