Welcome to Raynay Alpaca Farm, LLC
In November 2007, we found and purchased 100 acres with a quaint farmhouse in Caswell County, NC, and decided to make that our home. Alpaca farming became a reality for us in February of 2008 when we made our first alpaca purchase. Since then, our herd has grown, through the purchase of new alpacas and the birth of our own new crias. Raynay is currently home to 60 alpacas.
We are now fully involved in the national show-circuit and have met some wonderful alpaca ranchers from all over the United States, not to mention that our show-string alpacas have been very successful in the ring. Our greatest accomplishment to date is having one of our bred and owned male crowned as a 2 X Supreme National Champion in halter. AND more recently we produced the 2021 AOA Supreme Dark Female Champion and the 2024 AOA Supreme Dark Male Champion!
We have constructed a 40 x 60 barn and enclosed another 10 acres of pasture. Our pastures are constructed of no climb fencing to ward off predators plus we employ the services of our 4 of Great Pyrenees LGD.
We have a farm store onsite, is now open Wednesday through Saturday, filled with alpaca yarn and wearables. Our farm has several fruit trees, blackberry vines and grape vines allowing us to process and sale fresh homemade jams and jellies. We have 20 "pasture" chickens that entertain us as well as producing incredible tasting eggs.

2024 UPDATE: Raynay Alpaca Farm has been awarded 2 distinguished awards from the Alpaca Owners Association! #1 High Point Halter Small Suri Breeder AND #2 National Fleece High Point Small Suri Fleece Producer! Very humbled and excited to be the recipient of these prestigious National Awards.
Raynay Alpaca Farm has also been recognized as the 2024 Futurity Suri Breeder of the Year Medium Farm.
Belemonte's September Sun Shine was Get of Sire Champ at the 2024 AOA National Halter Show and 2024 Futurity (Dark/Mixed Colored Offspring). His offspring also helped him achieve the 2024 Futurity Reserve Herdsire of the Year Medium Farm Division! All of this was made possible with the help of 2 of his amazing offspring! Raynay's Topaz by Sun Shine (2024 AOA Supreme Dark Male) and Sonata's Minuet by Sun Shine (2024 Futurity Female Judge's Choice). Topaz is remaining in our herd and Minuet now resides in Ohio at Little Foot Ranch.
