2011 marks the second cria crop at KJ Alpacas for Cimarron Gold Legend. Description

Don't let her look fool you, despite her underwhelming lack of fleece coverage on her face, this female is very special!

Accunta is the result of an outside breeding to Cimarron Gold Legend, a Colour Champion. Gold Legend has produced many champions in western Canada and the Supreme Champion male at the Alpaga Quebec 2017 halter show. We bid on this breeding at the auction of this same show and won. We were hoping that the result of this breeding would be a female and we were so happy when we saw that she was at birth!
Her dam is one of our best females. Ariva is our only remaining MMR Marcoyo daughter. Her second fleece had an AFD of 16 microns and her fleece remained at 22 microns at 8 years old. There's a lot of fineness and champions in Accunta's genetics!

Not only her genetics are special, look at the shine of her fleece! Typical to her maternal line, her crimp started getting better with age, her second fleece exhibits high amplitude uniform crimp. Her fleece is also very dense. In 2020, we sheared off of her 4.80 pounds of fine fleece. Her fleece is also fine, 16.9 microns.

Crossing the genetics of Cimarron Gold Legend to Xanadu P Resolute's has produced outstanding results: Averegan's Aftershock (7x Black Champion) and Averegan's Magnus (2x Best in Show and 6x Champion). That is why we didn't hesitate to do line-breeding and breed her to Magnus! It should bring quality and colour!

Accunta's first cria is the FINEST alpaca we've produced in 15 years! At shearing, his AFD reached 14.2, SD 3.2, CV 22.9% and CF 100%!
Accunta comes with a breeding to our brown herdsire Smoak! Their 2023 cria is nice, a repeat breeding for sure. Abricot could be included in sale for an additional cost...
