Description

Maia is the first offspring of her dam, Diamond, and her sire is the 15X Banner winning, AOA National Supreme Champion, Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede. We’re extremely pleased with what we see!

Maia's fleece has abundant character, brightness, and fineness; and we look forward to seeing how this fleece further develops as she grows. Her conformation is looking excellent and her frame is already boxy and upright with straight legs and a great bite. We're just starting to see more of her personality come out -- she's curious and sweet!

There's no doubt in our minds that Maia will be a very fine foundation female and that she'll be on our show string once she is weaned.

Maia's sire, Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede, championed at every show he attended from 10 months old on. He achieved 15 banners, including 4 Judges Choice which culminated with the 2017 AOA National Supreme Championship -- he's an amazing male, and he's producing champions! His fleece is still beautiful and consistent at 18.3 microns as a breeding male, with uniformity across his blanket and extending down into his belly and legs. Judges repeatedly said, "...he is the SAME all over!"

Maia's dam is from the well known white breeding program, Heather's Acre Alpaca Farm, and her superlative genetics run deep. Maia's dam comes from great Accoyo's such as Vengador, Pucara, Odyssey, Quechua, Accoyocusani and Aga Khan. Her sire yields the Alianza greats such as Bueno, Predictor, Royal Fawn and Zephyrus; as well as more Accoyo greatness.

Maia’s fleece is so curly that it was downright difficult to get a fleece shot! We'll try to get another soon.

Financing Terms

Standard industry contracts are used. Breeding quality alpacas come with reproductive and live birth guarantees. You may take possession of your alpacas once the down payment is received and the “contract for purchase” signed by both parties. Transfer of ownership with ARI will not occur until full payment is received. Financing is available with 25 - 33% down, with up to 24 monthly payments. Buyer must purchase full mortality insurance for alpaca and offspring, if any, naming Man in the Moon Farm LLC as beneficiary on balance due until paid in full. For individual purchases over $3000, significant discount for cash sales paid in 30 days. Special pricing often available for multiple alpaca purchases. Transportation responsibility of buyer. AUCTION & PACKAGED DEAL OFFERS: These are cash only unless different arrangements are made up front. No other discounts apply unless negotiated otherwise.
