Please meet 4X COLOR CHAMPION golden show girl, who produces the most exquisite dark fleeced animals!!
Irish Meadows' My Lacy is the true testament of how far a fawn female can go to produce color with no sign of dark colored animals throughout her pedigree, the darkest being fawn, no sight of brown, black, or grey. As the first ever Sistina's Accoyo Destinati offspring, she is very special. Her sire is an 8X CHAMPION (including a champion win at the AOBA Nationals) and a full Accoyo fawn to boot!
At her first show as a juvenile, she pulled down the Color Champion ribbon, then again at her second show! She went on to win a total of 4-color champion banners, out of attending six different shows. One Color Champion win being at the prestigious AOA National Show.
The biggest question was, will her offspring carry her fleece qualities? The answer, YES! Her 2017 son, Red Granites Lapu (Sired by Kirwin) took two Reserve Color Championships at the 2020 AOA National Show, one in Fleece and the other in halter. All together he is a 5X CHAMPION. Her 2016 daughter, Red Granites Sizlin Lakota (Sired by Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose) was the 2017 ABR Fall Festival Alpaca Show Halter Light Female Reserve Champion winner. Her 2018 daughter, Red Granites Larkspur (Sired by Snowmass Reserved) was the 2020 TXOLAN Alpaca Spectacular Halter Reserve Champion winner.
UPDATE 2020: My Lacy threw a BAY BLACK male with our super-stud male -- Red Granites Val D Lsere!! Fine, extreme density, and excellent brightness, a future champion in rotation, for sure! To date 12/28/2021 Legit has 9 firsts 3 Reserve Color Championships and 3 Color Championships.
