LC was an alpha male - the leader of the pack . . . er, boy's herd. He brought home awards from fleece shows demonstrating the quality of his luxurious black fiber. LC's fleece was noted for its handle, uniformness, fineness and crimp. It received high marks for the consistency of its 21.5 micron thickness (at age 2), staple length, color and crimp. The 6 to 7 waves per inch displayed in LC's high frequency, low amplitude crimp ran from the middle of his neck to half way down his hind legs....
