To say that Bocelli holds a special place in my heart would be an understatement. He was produced by Ernie and Denise Gamroth at Battle River Alpacas, and his quality is a testament to their breeding program. Description

Out of BR Corvette and RFA Allure, Legacy represents some fantastic peruvian foundational lines. This ARA Chananza granddaughter's pedigree includes animals as Peruvian Bonanza, Peruvian Viracocha, Peruvian Ivano, Peruvian Camilio, Peruvian Don Julio, and Victor's Vaccoyo (to name a few!). As a breeding female, she represents some of the best traits we could hope to see in her progenitor's legacies, and I am very excited to see her progress in her breeding career as a result.

Legacy is a well grown, correctly proportioned female with matching substance of bone and an eye catching look. She is covered from head to toe in a very fine, very well organized fleece that displays consistent medium to high frequency crimp style with bold character, and a great degree of uniformity across the blanket. She is both dense and very soft handling, and has continued to retain a good degree of fineness, well into her breeding career.

She is a quiet tempered female who misses nothing and is quite clever. She is really great to work with, and is presenting with great mothering abilities— she is an easy birther with an abundance of milk. She has produced two cria to date, a male and a female, each presenting with long stapled, extremely uniform and bright fleeces with a high degree of density, softness and exceptional character. She has been re-bred to Bocelli for a third round as a result.

Legacy is co-owned with Northern Mystery Alpacas.

Financing Terms

Flexible financing and agistment available for all individual and package purchases. All funds are in Canadian dollars. All animals come with a copy of their health records, full transfer of their registration papers, and come halter trained and up to date on all vaccinations. Breeding stock come with reproductive guarantees, and we are happy to facilitate pre-purchase vet exams for your peace of mind. Samples of fibre, additional photos/videos and copies of all histograms and technical data can be supplied on request. We are passionate about the education and success of all alpaca owners, and the wellbeing of the animals-- so you do not need to purchase animals from us to receive lifetime mentorship and support, just reach out and ask! If you are looking for an animal with qualities that we do not have, please let us know and we will also happily refer you to farms we know who may well have the right fit for you.
