Huacaya, Open (Female), Proven | White
Pina is a robust, sweet female who I am ecstatic to include in my breeding program. She is half-sister to Genetta via their sire, Aztec Shaka, displaying the compact, correct frame and look so typical of their sire. Her dam, Blue Moon Freya is out of Foxwood's Spark (a HFLA Super Sam granddaughter), by Peruvian Foundation, a male who likely needs little introduction to any breeder in the US and Canada alike. Pedigree aside, Pina presents as a well balanced, solidly built female with an abundance of fleece coverage that shows a great degree of regrowth, good density, and soft handle. She has shown herself to be an excellent dam, thus far being an easy birther, and heavy milker, without sacrificing body condition or fleece regrowth. She has a polite, very sweet temperament which makes her a joy to work with. With Hilo in the herd, Pina is being made available to any home who is looking for a solid foundational female who can excel in producing a square, compact frame with correct legs, alongside long stapled fleece, with a nice temperament to round things off. Pina can come with a breeding to any non-related male in the FTP herd, as well as any non-related males within the Northern Mystery herd. I would recommend a pairing with either Northern Mystery's Khagan to stamp in that correctness of frame, alongside genetics for fineness, density and handle; or to Northern Mystery's Intii, to really reduce those longer primaries out of the blanket and bib, while also furthering length and advanced organization of the fleece.
