    If you are looking to add grey to your breeding program he is an excellent producer of grey. He has produced grey 83% of time when bred to grey and 52% of the time when bred to non grey.

    Prince has been our top male for 3 years and has criated some amazing greys and black crias including 1 stunning modern grey male.

    Of his 32 crias 25 are either grey or black.

    Description

    This boy is a farm favourite, he has it all! Beautiful grey crimpy fibre, correct conformation and personality to spare.

    Geswanouth is just full of energy, he loves to come out and visit guests and get treats. He is a beautiful grey under the light grey tips. His dam Sarasota is a dark fawn but is our top grey producing female, 11 out of 13 of her crias have been grey. His sire Prince is a beautiful medium silver grey with a black band of fibre around his middle, another great grey producer 21 out of his 33 crias have been grey.

    Geswanouth has grey't potential for producing grey. We have not used Geswanouth for breeding as right now we have more grey males than we need.


    Genetic Potential: For more than 11 years, all of our breeding males—except one—have been grey. As a result, every alpaca we offer for sale carries genetics capable of producing grey crias when paired with a grey mate.

    Geswanouth, it is pronounced Tezwano. He is named after Chief Dan George who was the chief of the Tsleil-Waututh Nation in North Vancouver , BC, in the 1950 - 1960's, he was an activist, poet and actor starring in several movies in the 1970's with stars Clint Eastwood, Dustin Hoffman.
    Geswanouth Slahouth was his birth name but it was changed to Dan George when he was sent to residential school.
